Do you charge for testing?
Testing of most items is completely free of charge, we only ask for a contribution to return shipping in the event that you don’t wish to go ahead with a repair.
I can't see what I need on your website, are you able to repair it?
Our website is not an exhaustive list, we are adding new products all the time. With some exceptions, we are able to repair or remanufacture almost any electronic module fitted to your truck or bus. Call us on 01623 325 025 or email info@TDVelectronics.com with details of what you have, or simply book a free collection and we will assess the item when it arrives.
Some items simply don’t have a repairable construction, E.G. “Potted” modules that are filled with resin after manufacture or certain EDCs that have a bonded construction.
Currently we are unable to effect satisfactory repairs on some Adblue pumps. We are interested in building a stock of old core and are investing in the machinery and processes required to give a refurbished item that we are happy with.
Will my item need reprogramming after repair?
No! The major advantage of having your existing items repaired is that they will be ready to refit to the vehicle without the expense and hassle of reprogramming.
What Warranty/Guarantee do you offer?
Electronic repaired items all come with a no quibble 24 month warranty – the best in the industry. Hydraulic/Pneumatic repairs are warranted for 12 months
Do I have to send you a unit for repair? Can you sell me a unit outright?
For most products, particularly those that are programmed to a vehicle (Engine ECUs etc) we would at the very least need your original unit to extract the programming.

I have a unit that needs urgent repair, can you help?
We do everything we can to get you moving again as quickly as possible.
Repairs on some items can be carried out within a single working day, but others can take longer, particularly if we have a heavy workload. We are constantly working to build up a stock of the most common ECUs in order to offer a cloned unit for a quick turnaround.
